Welcome to Simianer Strength
In a world of youtube crazed, science defying, and fad based lifting programs
preached by men who barely bench bodyweight or think scoliosis for time is a good WOD
for beginners, I welcome you to a bit of clarity.
I make no claim to be an expert, instead I own that I'm a well rounded man and lifter
who has not only read the books but done the deeds. If I had a fitness resume it would consist
of some feats im pretty proud of such as:
- I lost over 100lbs in a 2.5 year span.
- While losing that 100lbs+ I increased all three lifts
- Bench 135lb to 375lb
- Squat 95lb to 545lb
- Deadlift 185lb to 605lb
- While doing this I attended nursing school full time and never failed to make the Deans' or President's list
The purpose of Simianer Strength is twofold; to share the lessons learned and the way my life has been changed on this journey. Aditionally I am a Fullstack Developer now and this will serve as part of my portfolio to potential employers.
